We are a dedicated veterinary practice located in Windhoek, Namibia. Established in 2024 by Dr. Chanel van der Merwe, the clinic provides compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care for both small and large animals in Windhoek and surrounding areas.

Dr. Chanel van der Merwe Owner/Veterinarian Dr. Chanel van der Merwe is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian with a lifelong passion for animals. From a young age, she dreamed of opening her own practice, a dream that became a reality in 2024 with the opening of Farmhouse Veterinary Clinic, made possible through the unwavering support of her husband. Driven by her commitment to animal welfare, Dr. Chanel is devoted to helping every animal, whether big or small, and no matter how routine or serious the concern. Her dedication goes beyond the clinic walls, she is known for going the extra mile (and beyond) to ensure her patients receive the care they need. Dedré Human Dedré is the friendly face and warm voice that welcomes you and your pets at the Farmhouse Veterinary Clinic reception. With her approachable nature and genuine love for animals, she’s always ready to assist with your pet care needs, appointments, and questions. Receptionist In addition to her role at the clinic, Dedré is a part-time student currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science, with a special interest in wildlife management, a passion that truly sets her apart. Her goal is to one day become a veterinarian herself, and working at Farmhouse is one of the exciting first steps on that journey.
